Jeremy, during 7th and 8th grade we were at camp together. On Friday evenings, You had the oportunity to kiss all the girls to wish us a Shabbat Shalom. I had a huge crush on you, but my extreme preteen insecurity forced me to avoid you at all costs. On one evening, I let my guard down and you actually kissed me! I was invisible at that age and was shocked that you even noticed my presence. That was my first kiss and a really big deal, even if you did miss most of my mouth. All through Junior High, I would watch you from the corners at Synagogue in Evanston, but never had the courage to talk to you.
My kids find this story hysterical and agree that you are "really cute."
